Coin Refection; abstraction of emotion

as i told you in the last post, the next will be about coin. yes, all of this picture is a photograph of coin, reflected. the idea that lead me to these picture come from a funny but very useful video of DigitalRev TV that told us how to do high speed photograph, and they use an air soft AK-47 in this case. i mean it. this is the video if you want to see it.

the spirit of this photograph for me is, abstraction of emotion. by dropping all that coin from the air and take the picture in the moment they rebound, i try to take abstract shape they created together, and even beyond that, i fell some kind of freedom and liberty feeling after seeing this picture. i hope you do so :)
 

i take this picture on a very sunny shiny Indonesia's hot afternoon, on my opened (none wall) part of my Balinese house, without any backdrop. so i must do some trick to make it black, with flash.
here is the trick:

i love my tiny room

since i have some "trust crisis" in my family, it's been a little bit hard to go out, specially with a camera in my shoulder. but for sure, i love photographing. so if i can't go out, i go inside my room and do what i can do, in desperate black and white.
