it's hard to believe that we can build something
"big" and still maintain natural atmosphere in the area. well, it's
not a big problem if we want to build a workplace as the main interest and
insert some natural element to make it fell cozy. But something happens when we
do it in opposite way. When we find a very beautiful place, and want to build
something to make it easier to get or stay there, maybe it’s seems like very
good thing to do. But when money start
to rolling and human lost his control,, guess what happens. It will be like the
“building” erase the natural engrave, make the tourist feel like the building
is the show, not the nature.

But, surely I’m glad to say that Bali has not like that in
total yet. Although Kuta have change into a metropolitan area, another place is
still remaining natural, or some other maybe say, native. Well, I’ll try to
capture those images of native beautiful village next time, but now I want to
show you a beautiful place where nature, big-facility-make-by-human, and
culture make a balance and beautiful mixture: Ubud’s Monkey Forest

small river in the middle of forest |
well, i'm say it a balance mixture because we can still fell the forest at all,, green lichen, pure river, tree all around all ahead and all above us, fresh air that wont make you freeze like AC do,, but with facility build very well, beautiful-clean-anti-slippery-road, uniformed friendly officer (truly Balinese ^_^), easy access to here,, and they still let the temple and traditional graveyard in duty to be used in local ceremony.. really a good balance :)
